Role Summary

The DNS Protection team is actively seeking dynamic and skilled software developers keen on crafting security solutions and contributing to the design, development and release of software updates to a cloud native DNS security product that’s used by thousands of customers around the world. This presents an exciting opportunity to join a global software development team deeply committed to producing highly secure, top-notch, and efficient software.

What You Will Do
- The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Java backend software Engineering.
- You will be working in an agile development team delivering cloud solutions.
- Work with Docker & containerized workloads in AWS and network protocols.
- Working on AWS microservices.
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years’ experience working with commercial software using Java backend and Spring / Boot
- 2+ years’ experience working with containers & microservices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes environments)
- Experience working with Postgres, AWS RDS or similar database technologies
- Working knowledge of different networking protocols (e.g. HTTP/HTTPS,TCP/IP)
- Excellent software design, coding, and troubleshooting skills
- Able to prioritize, focus and drive tasks to completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English
- Sense of humour and a willingness to have fun
Desirable skills:
- Experience building software and services on AWS
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Experience using Test Driven Development practices
- Experience in the development of networking or security products
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Software or equivalent
- Network security certifications.
