How you’ll make an impact
At DKU, we have multiple engineering teams focusing on various aspects of the software, including AI/ML, Data Preparation, Data Visualization, ML Ops and Cloud Infrastructure. Each team offers internship opportunities where you'll work on specific features with direct impact on the final product. During the interview process, you'll receive detailed information about the available features and their contribution to the overall project.
As an intern, you will be working with a more senior Software engineer everyday on a potential future feature of our product. With guidance and support, you will be able to code, debug, optimize and document your work while learning on how to deliver a qualitative work.
Here are some examples of previous projects our interns worked on:
New chart capabilities
- Add more chart types to better convey our users data investigations
- Example of charts: bullet, waterfall, or calendar.
Geospatial Data preview and Visual filtering
- Display a preview of a geographic point or shape using maps in the table view of a dataset
- Filter rows containing geographic points in a dataset by drawing a shape on a map
Model interpretability & Responsible AI
- Improve our explainability suite
- Provide more ways to interrogate & mitigate unwanted bias throughout the model development lifecycle.
The stack may differ from an internship to another but the global stack of Dataiku is Python/Java for the backend and Angular/Vue/React for the frontend.
