What we do
As a Software Engineer II, you will be part of a Berlin-based international team focused on improving the performance, features, and design of our core product for healthcare professionals. You will join ACAI, a team dedicated to enhancing the efficiency of care teams in their daily work. Thanks to our task management feature, we help healthcare professionals save time, be more productive, and feel in control of their workload and activities by automating tasks as much as possible while providing clear and accessible information regarding their patients.
In this role, we are looking for software engineers who will be more focused on frontend projects.
What you’ll do
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Improving the performance of key features implemented in React, sometimes completely challenging the status quo.
- Prioritizing user experience and helping improve it through new features and design updates while maintaining high code quality standards.
- Taking leadership in delivering roadmap items (together with the team).
- Helping keep our bug backlog small.
- Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-driving the creation of the roadmap for the next quarters.
- Bringing your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we work.
Who you are

- You have a minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
- You have experience working on complex systems at a large scale.
- You are eager to be hands-on with our stack: we use React, TypeScript (and we are happy to help you ramp up).
- You understand the value of testing your code.
- You have proven experience developing efficient, maintainable, and secure products.
- You are fluent in English.
