Software Engineer-Functional Tester-Bangalore/Pune, India

We are seeking a highly skilled functional tester with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, proficiency in banking domain and SAP, and a desire to expand their expertise beyond traditional testing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, review and execute functional and non-functional test cases.
• Configure TRBK system as per client requirements.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA workings
• Understand data requirements, create data and maintain data per test runs
• Identify, document, and track bugs; collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Maintain test documentation and prepare reports on outcomes.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Identify and communicate risks associated with testing; provide risk mitigation recommendations.
• Mentor new testers and share best practices with the team.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of functional testing experience.
• Proficiency in SAP Finance and TRBK
• API & FIORI apps testing
• Knowledge of various test models and methodologies.
• Experience in the banking domain.
• Understanding of Agile principles and experience in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Test strategy & planning understanding
• Familiarity with cloud platforms & deployments
• Experience in maintaining automation scripts
