Software Engineer - Frontend Infrastructure

Engineering at StackAdapt: 
As an Engineer at StackAdapt, you will be directly involved in the development of our advertising platform, producing production level code that will have a direct impact on the success of our product. You will work with large data sets and have exposure to modern tech stacks around GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL and more. StackAdapt’s engineering organization believes in working collaboratively and cross functionally. About the Team:
The Frontend Infrastructure Team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our component library, contributing impactful UI and UX improvements throughout the application, and augmenting frontend tooling & productivity. We promote frontend engineering best practices and champion striving for accessible and delightful user experiences. Our team works closely with design, product management, and other engineering teams to support and accelerate initiatives across the company.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in North America for this position.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver high-quality, reusable, and thoroughly tested components to our component library
  • Work closely with the design team to translate visual concepts and requirements into fully functional user interfaces
  • Advocate for UI/UX best practices, including accessibility and component API design
  • Participate in sprint planning and team decision-making
  • Take responsibility and ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical spec reviews
  • Stay on top of frontend technology trends, evaluating new tools and techniques to continuously improve our systems

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • 2+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding US
  • Strong knowledge in React, Redux, Javascript/Typescript, and Material UI
  • Experience working with modern frontend libraries (eg. Redux Toolkit, Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Strong understanding of UX best practices
  • Experience contributing to component libraries
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams to design, implement, and iterate on high-impact user interfaces and experiences
  • Familiarity with accessibility, Figma and Storybook is a plus
