WORKING LOCATION: BANGALORE (B4)
Summary:
Contribute to the design, development, troubleshoot, test and document a range of applications including backend (server-side), Web (Vu.js or Angular).
- Interact in a constructive manner with Business Analysts/Tech Lead to:
- Estimate the complexity and the workload;
- Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;
- Reach the optimal requirement artifact that will lead to a working software solution.
- Interact in a constructive manner with other IT teams.
- Master and apply team technologies and processes and take active part in creating team success.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Objectives:
Software Engineer as part of the development team should have the ability to analyze, code and deliver tasks as planned with defined quality. Also appreciate to have the ability to learn and acquire new technology skills as a long-term objective. This role expects the candidate to work closely with the kanban team effectively understand the requirements and think through all possible use cases and deliver a quality code per the defined standard and timelines.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience with developing and maintaining web applications using .net Technologies.
- Strong working knowledge on server-side development (ASP.NET MVC, .net Core)
- Good working knowledge of MS SQL, Performance Optimization of queries.
- Experience in working with n-tier architecture.
- Hands-on experience in unit testing (NUNIT)
- Working knowledge of Angular, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies
- Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) project.
- Good understanding of UML, object-oriented programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design principles
- Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
- Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)
- Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
- Must be a quick learner.
Technology skills:
- Strong and proven background in Information Technology
- Strong design skills, Solid principles, Design patterns, documentation of design using UML
- Strong working knowledge of Linux
- Unit testing: NUNIT
- Angular, JQuery, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies
- SQL Server
Technology – Nice to have:
- Azure or GCP platform knowledge
- Experience in Azure DevOps, PowerShell
- Experience in Liquibase, Knockout JS
- TDD/ATDD
Methodology skills
- AGILE Development (Scrum / Kanban)
Personal Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language
- Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a complex international environment.
- Experience in Agile (Kanban) methodologies would be a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

BE Computer Science/MCA or any other bachelor’s degree with the right experience.
