Zipline’s software team delivers safety-critical software at lightning speed. A small, deeply-experienced team of software engineers builds the tooling that enables development to run like a well-oiled machine. This team works closely with flight software engineers across all areas of the org: autonomy, firmware, avionics, and simulation, to name a few. This team is responsible for our Bazel build system, our CI/CD servers and job pipeline, Github automation, and many crucial tools that keep development flowing.
This role is for an engineer who is hungry to join a top-performing team of seasoned engineers to be mentored and learn fast to level up into a world class engineer at an impressive rate. This job will require you to dive deep into our codebase, debug problems across multiple software stacks, maintain critical systems, and learn new concepts on a daily basis. This job is very customer-centric, pairing with other software engineers on designing new pipelines, refactoring code bases, and troubleshooting obscure failures.
The starting cash range for this role is $135,000 - 175,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
