The Position
FanDuel is hiring a Software Engineer to work within one of the most critical areas of the business - our Core Product Experiences (CPE) engineering domain. This domain is responsible for engineering new features and maintaining existing core functions relating to our customers. This includes functions such as login, sign up, deposits and withdrawals and more!
This Software Engineer role is backend focused working with Java, AWS and Spring, though we have a few applications also written in Python. As our customer base continues to grow, our focus as an organisation, and within this team is how we can create scalable systems that offer a frictionless experience for our customers.
Some of our tech stack includes: Java, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, AWS, Github, BuildKite, SonarCube, IaC tools (Terraform, K8s, Docker), Datadog, Puppet.

Location: Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more.
We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where we normally spend a day or two in the office per week.
