Software Engineer-Automation Tester-Bangalore/Pune, India

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, proficiency in API automation, and a desire to expand their expertise beyond traditional testing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API & FIORI apps using TDD, BDD concepts.
• Develop and maintain UI based functional test scripts using like open-source framework like Selenium, vendor tools like TOSCA, Workbench etc
• Strong coding skills in Java/Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute test cases and analyze results. Overcome falls positives and version control automation scripts.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing processes, automation frameworks and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software test automation.
• Proficiency in Postman, Newman for API testing and other UI functional automation tools like Selenium.
• Experience in SAP apps automation
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Hand on experience in Java/Python.
• Good understanding of data base concepts, large volume data creation and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Banking domain knowledge
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms & deployments
• Experience in performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
