We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the cloud engineering team, focusing on the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on security and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions, ensuring that projects align with industry best practices and compliance standards. Your work will drive the successful implementation of cloud services and infrastructure across various client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, focusing on resources like storage, databases, machine learning services, and security tools.
  • Participate in various cloud projects, ensuring alignment with industry security best practices.
  • Collaborate on special validation and development projects, contributing to tool development and system integration.
  • Implement and maintain network security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Automate workflows using scripting tools like PowerShell, CLI, and others to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, cloud computing teams, and project stakeholders, to deliver cloud-based solutions.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and implement resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and maintain cloud governance frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Strong proficiency with cloud services, including storage, databases, machine learning services, and security tools.
  • Hands-on experience with network security and best practices in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell and CLI.
  • Experience with large-scale service management systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Administrator, Solutions Architect, Security Engineer).
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements for cloud environments.
  • Experience with Linux kernel and embedded systems development is a plus, as these topics will be covered during the interview process.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $115,000 to $120,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
