Software Developer - Senior

MAXISIQ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience supporting mission critical operations. This is a full-time, position. Primary work location is Lorton, Virginia. Remote options are available. Express your interest, today, as we are now interviewing!

What You'll Be Doing

• The Front-end Developer is responsible for implementing and optimizing the user interface components of the application. Their expertise in front-end technologies ensures a seamless and responsive user experience across various devices and platforms.
• Core Application Developers: A team of software developers, ranging from entry level to senior, is essential for transitioning, modernizing, and sustaining the main code base of the application. They collaborate to implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and address any technical debt to ensure the application meets evolving mission requirements. 
• Transition activities include requirement reviews and assessments, backlog reviews, documentation review, development environment and tooling standup.
• Supports demonstrations at sprint and product increment reviews.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent
•  In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating skills in software development, data analysis, and software testing and troubleshooting

Clearance

• TS/SCI Clearance, required  
• Willingness and ability to obtain CI Poly, required

Qualifications Required

• 8+ years of experience in software, application and system development
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, HTMLS, C++, Java, SQL, PHP
• Knowledge of system frameworks including .NET, Git, Angular JS and GitHub
• Experience with mobile app development
• Experience creating and maintaining databases
• Experience working with Agile development technologies
• Advanced project management skills and good interpersonal skills
