Software Developer/Programmer - Middleware Support

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Software Developer/Programmer to join our Middleware Support team. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in software development and be capable of developing and supporting Middleware COTS platforms, integrated applications and systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance for complex information processing problems.
  • Perform detailed analyses and studies, prepare comprehensive reports, and deliver presentations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Middleware software and systems.
  • Create and manage custom code used in conjunction with COTS products to meet application requirements.
  • Support the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of Middleware projects.
  • Manage Middleware custom code to ensure software and hardware compatibility with the production environment.
  • Collaborate with customers, other teams and developers to design and code integration solutions for specific requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software development roles.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, .NET, COBOL, and scripting languages.
  • Expertise in Middleware products and technologies, including WebMethods and API Gateway.
  • Experience with database APIs and working with databases like DB2, Oracle, and others.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an agile lifecycle environment such as Scrum or Kanban.

 

Minimum Eligibility:

  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
