Software Developer Intern
The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Software Developer Intern. In this role, you are responsible for supporting application development. The applicant will need to be bright, imaginative and a capable technologist specifically seeking a smaller environment where their potential will be maximized through the challenging projects that increase productivity and efficiency.
What you'll be doing:
- Assists with the development of new features with Online Banking
- Work with Product Manager, other software developers and users to determine needs and development requirements
- Design, develop, implement and test software solutions
- Create software that integrates with other software systems
- Recording work/project progress on a weekly basis
- Documentation of processes and solutions created
- Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes by monitoring trends in existing systems
What you'll bring to the table:
- Progress in college degree with computer science focus or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build web-based applications: including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users, product managers and other software developers.
- Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive user interfaces
- Ability to construct user guides and documentation
- Project management skills preferred
- Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET preferred
- Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, Angular, VBScript, HTML, XML, JSON preferred
