Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and is capable of leading and mentoring a team of developers. This position is physically located in Northern Virginia. It will require full-time on site work in the Dulles Corridor area. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and developing enterprise applications in a Web environment.
- Developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Developing unit and functional test plan.
- Providing the operations and maintenance of operational systems.
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Performing or directing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. This can be for new applications development or the transition of legacy applications to the cloud environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development using web development technologies
- Proficiency in Agile processes and procedures
- Hands-on experience with programming languages (C++, Java, Ruby on Rails)
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, are a plus
- US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with polygraph
This position is located in Northern Virginia.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually, commensurate on experience.
