Software Backend Engineer (Scala - 80%, Java - 20%)

Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation to Warsaw is mandatory.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our technical team with a focus on backend development and data engineering. The ideal candidate will work on bug fixing, enhancing development processes, and increasing pre-production coverage to streamline releases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend solutions using Scala (80%) and Java (20%), leveraging Databricks, SQL, and (ideally) Python.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and workflows with Scala, Spark, and SQL.
- Build and enhance CI/CD processes using Jenkins and GitHub.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements and perform QA testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
