Job Title: Senior Software Architect - Angular

Job Summary:
As a Senior Software Architect at Eurofins Environment Testing, you will play a crucial role in designing, architecting, and overseeing the development of robust web applications. Utilizing your expertise in Angular for frontend architecture, C# for API development, and SQL Server for database architecture, you will lead the creation of visually appealing, interactive, and high-performance web solutions. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you'll translate user requirements into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring the overall success and scalability of our products.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and architecture of full-stack web applications, focusing on Angular for frontend architecture, C# for API development, and MSSQL for the database.
2. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define architectural requirements and ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.
3. Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices for both Angular and C# development.
4. Optimize application architecture and performance to deliver scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring fast loading times and exceptional user experience.
5. Conduct thorough architectural reviews and debugging sessions to identify and resolve complex issues across frontend and backend systems.
6. Stay abreast of emerging frontend and backend technologies, methodologies, and architectural patterns through continuous research and self-learning.
7. Facilitate architectural discussions and code reviews to drive architectural improvements and ensure adherence to established standards.
8. Drive Agile development practices, including sprint planning, architectural discussions, and retrospectives.
9. Contribute to the enhancement and streamlining of development workflows and processes to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
1. bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Extensive experience as a Software Architect with a strong emphasis on Angular architecture (10 years of total experience), with at least 5 years of C# API development, 5 years Angular development, and 5 years of MSSQL development.
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, and SQL.
4. In-depth knowledge of Angular frameworks, libraries, and architectural patterns, along with expertise in RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
5. Familiarity with version control systems, such as GitHub.
6. Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to architectural details.
8. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
9. Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices.
2. Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and their impact on architectural decisions.
3. Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing methodologies for frontend and backend systems.
Personal Skills:
PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA:
Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
