OUR SOFTWARE ARCHITECT
As a Software Architect you will be playing a crucial role in the software development process and will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining the overall structure of software systems. You will define technical standards and ensure the software system is scalable, maintainable, and secure. You will also collaborate closely with various stakeholders, to understand and address their needs and requirements.
SOME OF YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and design the software architecture, including selecting the appropriate technologies, frameworks, and patterns to create a robust and scalable system.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams, guide them through the software development process and ensure that the teams adhere best practices and architectural standards.
- Identify and address potential technical risks and challenges, proactively assess the system’s architecture to identify any potential issues, and devise mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive software architecture documentation, including design decisions, architectural patterns.
- Ensure that the software architecture adheres to industry best practices and standards and continuously stay up to date with the latest trend and technologies to retain a competitive edge in this field.
SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in software development, including hands-on experience with various programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Experience using cloud native services of leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and APIs relevant to cloud-based systems.
- Strong understanding of security best practices specific to the cloud environment
- Experience with data engineering and knowledge of best practices
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian languages.
It would be awesome, if you have:
- Experience building cloud native distributed systems
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
