In your role as a video editor, your day-to-day tasks will consist of collaborating with other teams to create short social videos/ads/shorts/reels/stories for all major social platforms and our own apps

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As our social video editor, your responsibilities will include designing digital assets, testing them, and optimizing them based on their performance. Responsibilities also include staying up to date on industry trends and the latest digital design software.
• Create digital video assets for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, websites, mobile apps, etc.). Example assets include social media posts, app store assets, digital event flyers and creating unique assets for the WeAreX app.
• Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
• Test assets and optimize based on their performance.
• Iterate new designs based on user feedback.
• Create and execute concepts for digital advertising.
• Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts.

Requirements

• The ability to work in a fast-growing high-pressure environment.
• You need to be able to switch seamlessly between project managing work streams to directing and creating content.
• The desire to work in an interesting yet challenging environment with the ambition of making real change in the world
• Expertise and love of social and video.
• The ability to work with existing brand guidelines and to weave this into designs whilst maintaining creative flair.
• Strong knowledge of current video design best practices
• Proven digital content skills.
• Experience creating video assets for a variety of target audiences.
• Strong portfolio showing your social video creations
