Position Overview  

Reporting to the VP of Marketing for EMEA, the Social Media Analyst will promote the company’s corporate initiatives and brands, manage strategic communication and messaging and extend Diligent Corporation’s market reach by increasing our media promotion and amplifying the activities of the Marketing team. This individual will be a dynamic, go-getter who can self-manage. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop organic social strategy to via online social channels to increase Diligent’s  company visibility and promote Diligent as a thought-leader in the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) space. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for Diligent to contribute to timely topics across social media with create messaging and content placements. 
  • Write and/or edit all social media content for EMEA, including but not limited to: organic social media posts, creation of content of short form video clips, news Hijacking and regional event coverage. 
  • Help conduct social media training and prepare internal stakeholders on how best to use their social media platforms as thoughts leaders in market.  
  • Leverage social media tools such as Advocacy to support amplifying our region content via our Diligent team members. 
  • Lead internal communication for all EMEA social media coverage and partner with the PR team on the latest PR schedule. 
  • Understand the analyze the social media landscape to determine and manage the organic social strategy across the EMEA region. 
  • Develop key metrics and ensure a strong organic social engagement. Prepare campaign-specific measurement and monitoring reports.  
  • Collaborate with the paid social and digital team to ensure a clear message is being delivered in market via organic and paid channels. 
  • Partner closely the Field Marketing team on upcoming campaigns which require organic social support. 

Requirements/Skills 

  • 3+ years in hands-on organic and paid social media experience in B2B environments, preferably SaaS. 
  • Solid understanding of and experience in social media channels to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and engagement.
  • Energetic with amazing interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to work across teams and organisational levels.
  • Resourceful, creative, and able to brainstorm and implement new ideas.
  • Strong portfolio of marketing communications deliverables and writing samples required.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS.
  • GRC industry knowledge and/or experience.  
  • Familiarity with Advocacy, Hootsuite, Marketo.
