Social Media Specialist

The Social Media Coordinator will report to our Social Media Manager and support tasks related to our social media program and coordination for our influencer program. The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of social media, from content production to paid social advertisements, reporting, and social community engagement.

The Social Media Coordinator will report to our Social Media Manager and support tasks related to our social media program and coordination for our influencer program. The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of social media from content production, paid social advertisements, reporting, and social community engagement. Our client is a leading online retailer specializing in aftermarket automotive parts and accessories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Source, curate, and schedule social media posts for several social media accounts.

·       Write authentic and grammatically correct short form social media copy unique per brand and post.

·       Actively monitor social media posts and respond to comments including escalating customer concerns with our service team.

·       Support social media reporting activities by exporting and formatting data from Sprout.

·       Support social media co-op program content coordination and Facebook ad manager ad creation as directed.

·       Work collaboratively with creative team members for creation of photo and video assets.

·       Assist in the identification and onboarding of new influencers.

·       Assist in the coordination of influencer related projects and materials.

·       Place influencers’ orders, track values of orders placed, and provide tracking information when needed.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE (Special skills, knowledge of software, procedures, etc.)

·       Ability to work US business hours (EST time zone) is required.

·       Excellent written and verbal English communication.

·       Direct experience using social media management tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr)

·       Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.

·       Experience creating ads in Meta ads manager.

·       Ability to think creatively and with an interest in branding and brand development including photography and videography.

·       Ability to partner well with others and work as a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.

·       Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily, weekly, monthly tasks.

·       Experience with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

·       Desire to learn new software and skills
