Job scope:
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing social media strategies across all relevant platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty. This role requires a balance of creativity and analytics, with a deep understanding of digital content trends and social media best practices. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
Job duties:
- Social Media Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility, grow followers, and boost engagement tailored to each platform.
- Set measurable goals and KPIs, aligning social media activities with the overall marketing strategy and company objectives.
- Identify new social media trends, emerging platforms, and opportunities to enhance brand presence.
- Content Creation & Management
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and videographers to produce original, on-brand content.
- Create and maintain a social media calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
- Community Engagement & Customer Interaction
- Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a positive, authentic connection with the audience.
- Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, industry trends, and potential customer issues, responding promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with customer service to manage escalations and ensure a seamless customer experience on social channels.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, such as engagement rate, reach, clicks, and conversions.
- Generate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations, using data to guide strategic decisions and optimize content.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to continuously improve social media campaigns and engagement.
- Influencer and Partner Collaboration
- Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, brand ambassadors, and potential partnerships to amplify reach and engagement.
- Develop and execute influencer campaigns, ensuring alignment with Mano’s brand values and goals.
- Paid Social Campaigns
- Manage paid social media advertising to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Work closely with the performance marketing team to ensure that social media ads align with broader marketing efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with other departments, such as product, customer service, and growth marketing, to align social media efforts with overall company initiatives.
- Coordinate with the commercial & marketplace team on seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within e-commerce or a high-growth environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights).
- Creative content development skills, with a good eye for design, photography, and video.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with a strong sense of brand voice.
- Excellent use of English and Portuguese language
- Experience with paid social media campaigns and influencer marketing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
