As brands increasingly invest in cultivating deep, long-term relationships, social media has become essential to enhancing customer experience. We are seeking a polished, dynamic Contract-to-Hire Social Media Manager to support our client in strengthening these valuable customer connections.
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that resonate with our clients' target audiences. Exceptional presentation skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively will be essential in fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and translating those insights into impactful social media campaigns.
Experience supporting brands in in the quick service restaurant (QSR) and/or convenience store (C-store) industries is strongly preferred.
Please be prepared to provide examples of your work showcasing the development of social monitoring strategies tailored to meet specific client needs.
This high-visibility role collaborates on-site with our client 1 day/week at their offices in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as a Social Media subject matter expert and client account lead
- Build and sustain productive relationships with internal teams and clients through effective communication, reporting, and presentations
- Maintain a clear brand vision by designing, executing, and approving social media campaigns and strategies
- Lead and prioritize key initiatives and campaigns
- Actively contribute to all levels of social media reporting, including monthly reports, quarterly business reviews, and campaign performance analysis
- Educate clients and internal teams on social media marketing best practices
- Develop, maintain, and manage a social media editorial calendar, including copywriting and occasional content creation
- Collaborate with designers, creative directors, and content strategists to produce engaging post concepts
- Establish, implement, and track KPIs to assess performance, identify emerging trends, and provide actionable insights
- Build and maintain direct client relationships through status calls, advisory meetings, and daily communication
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of key social media tools and best practices
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations for leveraging emerging trends, platforms, and tactics to support our client's social media goals
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a digital marketing environment, with a focus on social media
- Experience in the quick service restaurant (QSR) and/or convenience store (C-store) industries strongly preferred
- Digital-first agency experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to design and tailor social monitoring strategies based on client needs
- Demonstrated confidence to successfully lead brand strategy across earned and owned social media channels
- A deep curiosity and passion for staying ahead of social platform trends
- Extensive hands-on experience with social and mobile marketing channels
- Experience managing social media crises
- Expertise in paid and organic social media campaigns
- Self-motivated, responsive, professional, and dedicated to customer success
- An innovative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, continuous learning, and agility
- Global marketing experience a plus
- Must be able to work on-site at our client's offices in Delaware County, Pennsylvania 1 day/week
