Social Media Manager (Organic)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for using social media to influence and engage a wide range of customers, and to achieve broader business goals. This role will need to maintain a high degree of expertise and specialist knowledge in social media to deliver best-in-class social media campaigns, manage key channels, provide guidance, training, and mentoring to others, and where necessary develop and maintain documentation of key policies and processes. 

What you will be doing:

  • Work with your team to design, implement, and launch social media marketing promotions in order to reach and engage priority target audiences (i.e. existing and/or potential customers, KOLs, influencers, etc.) across various social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). 
  • Ensure your team is working seamlessly with internal team leads across social and other marketing verticals on the development of social media marketing campaigns to ensure messaging, cadence, imagery, and targeting methodologies clearly align with customer needs and/or the campaign’s overarching strategic vision.  
  • Maintain a line-of-sight to the latest industry developments within the social media space, recommending areas for improvement/optimization where relevant to ensure T&F’s social media marketing approach remains in-line with industry standards.  
  • Manage a small team of specialists. 

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience and expertise in social media strategies, including paid and organic.  
  • Experience of planning, delivering, and reporting on strategic activities that drive organizational growth.  
  • Ability to manage own time and set own priorities.  
  • Excellent relationship-building skills. 
  • Dedication to learning and self-development.  
  • Demonstrable leadership and people-management skills. 
  • Manages the implementation of change through positive behavior and attitude; Contributes ideas of how to best manage and implement changes based on customer needs.  
  • Ability to inspire others towards a common vision or goal.  
  • Experience with a social media tool such a Sprinklr or sprout social. 
  • Understanding of social listening and using this to drive value. 
  • Develops and implements innovative ideas that improve work processes or results; Maintains advanced knowledge of new marketing/industry trends.
