About the Role
 
Fivetran, the global leader in data movement, helps customers use their data to power everything from AI applications and ML models, to predictive analytics and operational workloads.
 
Fivetran is looking for an experienced social media leader to join our growing Content team. We are growing our brand presence this year and you will be a pivotal part of this expansion. The ideal candidate for this role is well-versed in best practices for all social media platforms, a strong writer and editor and has an eye for imagery and video that will elevate Fivetran’s presence on social media. 
 
The right candidate for this role will have a passion for storytelling and the ability to marry product narratives with Fivetran’s brand voice and thought leadership perspectives. This candidate will be opinionated on how social can engage our B2B audience and scale our brand awareness and demand generation programs.
 
What You’ll Do
 
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day execution of Fivetran’s organic social media channels on LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Create engaging social-first content that ladders up to the overarching editorial calendar and highlights broader comms, product and marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with executives to amplify content across their personal channels. 
  • Draft compelling paid social and programmatic ad copy to improve and test existing campaigns and paid social strategies. 
  • Work alongside the digital team to make recommendations for paid social to expand reach and increase both engagement and followers. 
  • Manage employee advocacy platform by providing employees with up-to-date company content and social media captions/images. 
  • Ensure all content is world-class, on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice. 
Skills We’re Looking For
 
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager at a B2B tech company.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills – experience writing for social is a must. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
  • A creative mindset, with the ability to quickly identify trending topics and know when to engage. 
  • A detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple, high-profile projects and deliverables. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or  benefits, if applicable. 


Pay Range
$108,948.02$130,742.85 USD
