We’re looking for a travel planning enthusiast to join the Tripadvisor Marketing Team as the Social Media Manager - Content and Production
This person will report into the Senior Manager overseeing Tripadvisor’s organic social media channels. This role will have a specific focus on content production and the development and execution of new social “franchises,” testing and optimization of new social content tactics and strategies, and reporting results to key stakeholders. They’ll work cross functionally with the Content and Creative team to develop our native social content practice and manage the creation of content that delivers on our strategy and reflects our brand values. The role will also work closely with Brand and Marketing Strategy on key campaigns and tentpole programs. 
 

What You'll Do:

  • Explore and define new content concepts at the intersection of our community, travel, culture, and our brand;

  • Work closely with Content and Creative to concept and develop native social content, ensuring production resource needs are met;

  • Identify and direct Social team content needs within the social media calendar;

  • Manage content operations including concept development, production planning, creation, and delivery;

  • Work closely with the Senior Social Specialist to respond to timely opportunities and ensure content is published as designed;

  • Manage the progression of social content projects and the allocation of social content contributors; 

  • Build strong relationships with partners and continuously grow opportunities for social content development, efficiency, and performance; 

  • Dig into reporting to discover insights that will drive future success.
     

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working in social media, audience engagement and/or community management for a brand or publisher;

  • Experience in content production, supporting organic social media across internal and external stakeholders;

  • Social platform expertise and continuing curiosity in how community, communication, and creation are evolving online;

  • Modern and strong perspective on the ingredients required for the development of best-in-class social content; 

  • Ability to deliver accurate and compelling content under tight deadlines; 

  • Comfort with developing process and clarity in new or undefined spaces;

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

 

The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $120,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
