Social Media Lead

We are seeking a dynamic team lead to oversee our social media content and copywriting team. In this role, you will oversee our social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement for events and movies across various channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the content strategy for all social media platforms, ensuring alignment with our overall marketing and brand strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a team of copywriters and content creators, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the creation of all digital content, including posts, blogs, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and product and business teams to create synergistic content that enhances user engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Maintain a consistent voice and tone across all content that reflects the brand’s values and target audience’s preferences.
  • Analyse content performance metrics and utilise insights to optimise future content strategies.
  • Stay current with content trends, social media innovations, and industry best practices.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure all content is produced on time and meets quality standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning with senior management to increase reach, engagement, and conversion through innovative content initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in copywriting and content creation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise across a variety of media.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience building and managing a creative team.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy that resonates with our audience.
  • Experience with SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
