About the role

Chime is looking for a Social Media intern to join our Brand Social team. You will gain insight into how social media can be leveraged for brands, helping to synthesize data to make better informed decisions as well as assess the cultural landscape to include real time trends into content. This role is collaborative, working alongside the Social Team, but also our Creative, Partnerships, Member Services (OMX), Legal teams, and more. 

This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $25 and up to $35. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. 

In this role, you can expect to

  • Contribute to our “Always On” content in service of elevating Chime to become the most culturally relevant brand powered by our members 
  • Learn about performance and how we measure success
  • Help schedule and calendar our content
  • Help monitor and analyze conversations across key social media channels and collaborate with the Social Operation Specialists (OMX) to understand performance and uncover insights and content opportunities
  • Stay on the pulse of culture – identifying trending content/creators, and making recommendations for how some of them can come to life across our social channels
  • Help reply to brand love comments across our social channels
