Job Description

As a Creative Social Media Designer specialising in events, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling visual content that drives excitement and attendance for our events across various social media platforms. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and event teams to create visually stunning graphics, videos, and assets that resonate with our target audience and reflect the unique spirit of each event.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2-3+ years) in branding and social media design, preferably in the field of events and experiences and a portfolio that extensively shows your work in these areas.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for event based engagements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to implement innovative ideas and techniques to enhance the social media presence of live events.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.  Have an enthusiastic approach to work closely with marketing and event teams to understand event goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop innovative and eye-catching visual content (graphics, animations, videos) tailored for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to promote upcoming events.
  • Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and events team to conceptualise and execute social media campaigns that align with our brand identity and event objectives.
  • Online Engagement: Understand, monitor and analyse social media channels/activities to optimise content strategy and campaign effectiveness.
  • LIVE Event Key Observations: Attend and document community events through live coverage on social media as and when needed, capturing key moments and interactions to share in real-time. It also includes identifying gaps and insights that help us further at work.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity across platforms.
