Responsible for: This is an exciting 12 month contract starting asap. As a Social Content Creator, you will part of the team who lead day-to-day content creation for OMEN UK’s TikTok channel. Creating content that delivers on OMEN’s ambition to be the most loved #1 gaming brand in the UK amongst Gen Z.  
 
OMEN is part of HP and, with the new Transcend 14, is proving to be the go-to brand for Gen Zs who love gaming but also want a laptop that fits their wider lives.   
 
OMEN needs someone to create engaging TikToks for our UK audience. The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of the gaming world and how gaming can be part of the wider culture.  

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • A deep passion for gaming.  Develop creative ideas, suggest innovative ways of delivering digital content, and stay up to date with the latest social trends and techniques, with particular emphasis on TikTok and Instagram.  
  • Work alongside the Social Creative Director and the Social Strategist to lead the creation of social assets from brief to delivery. 
  • Produce and create social-first content authentic to people's social feeds, including memes, TikToks, and witty social copy. 
  • Experience in social video production, including filming and editing using all the "in-app" tools in Instagram, TikTok, and CapCut.  
  • Experience in using and finding social trends and data to inspire content concepts.  
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute a social content calendar. 
  • Ability to integrate wider campaigns into day-to-day content.  
  • Understanding how social fits with PR and other marketing channels to maximise impact. 
  • Ability to engage with and manage communities on TikTok and Instagram. 
  • Comfortable both on and off-camera is a massive plus.

Desired Experience/Expertise:

  • Solid experience and understanding of social channels like TikTok and Instagram. 
  • Understanding of the social influencer landscape, the current ASA regulations (and how to adhere to them) and how to utilize social influencers effectively in campaigns.  
  • Proven experience in producing social content and delivering effective results through ideas/campaigns for a range of clients and budgets (in a variety of sectors). 
  •  Collaborating effectively with teams to generate integrated ideas.
