As a member of a team providing services to EUSPA you will be providing security support services directly from the Galileo Control Centres located in Italy (GCC-I) and Germany (GCC-D) and create the operational link between GCC team and the GSMC/SOC. You will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the creation and validation of GCC and GSMC incident handling procedures for nominal and crisis scenarios (i.e. Council Decision);
- Support GCC SECMON-related activities, in particular, but not only, investigations requested by the GSMC;
- Operate the SECMON enclave in GCC and perform activities as instructed by GSMC;
- Resolve security incidents requesting ARB decisions;
- Support the SECMON implementation roadmap in the GCC and support its validation activities between the GSMC and the GCC;
- Increase GSMC knowledge of the system by directly accessing technical documentation on “as built” system design and data flows, and sharing the knowledge within the GSMC;
- Provide the GCC authorisations to the GSMC upon request, regarding changes in their electronic security environment (as per GSOP requirements);
- Enforce GSMC auditing responsibilities for Galileo Operations as stated in the Galileo SvRD-x;
- Reinforce the quality of GSMC Security Reporting to the Programme by having direct on-site access to SPO inputs used for the GSMC’s weekly security reports;
- Accelerate the Council Decision and IRC time for decision trigger points in GCC procedures for crisis scenarios;
- Provide for the GSMC/SOC Team participation in CLA meetings organised at the GCC (i.e. CLA ARBs co-chairing, Cyber Review Board preparation, attendance and follow-up), and provide reports on their outcomes;
- Support security audits that could affect GSMC/SOC from the GCC.
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Bachelor’s in aerospace engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ground segment operations.
- Customer focus mentality;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
