The Team:
The Global Data Solutions (GDS) team comprises of data practitioners with diverse data skillsets ranging from data science, data engineering, data visualization and data acquisition. The Global Solutions team within the GDS function, is responsible for globalizing data driven solutions and models, and making sure we use cutting edge technologies to deliver our offerings seamlessly to clients across the globe.  To support our rapidly growing group we are looking to fill the Sales and Operations (S&O) Analyst (Management Level: Associate) role for our Global Solutions group.

We are looking for an exceptional individual contributor to provide Sales and Operations data analysis and reporting to the leadership and key stakeholders in the Global Solutions space. This position will be based in Bengaluru and will report into the Head of Global Solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to collect, analyze, and report sales, revenue and operations related data in an ongoing effort to report accurate and meaningful business metrics. You will be required to handle data, collaborate with regional partners to fill required fields, develop reports and dashboards and also design and create new metrics to address business needs. The successful candidate will have excellent reporting and BI skills, PowerPoint skills, great communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to be able to provide period reporting, insights and recommendations.

Primary responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with regional counterparts and stakeholders to fill the right fields, and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly KPIs  on sales, revenue, operations and efficiency.
  • Providing insights to the business decision makers by doing a deep dive analysis of the business data and generating insights from it.
  • Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts
  • Creating and maintaining databases, data systems, and BI reports for assessing large amounts of data.
  • Assisting with budgeting and financial metrics.
  • Identifying opportunities and recommending strategies to improve key operational metrics.
  • Presenting actionable information and insights to team members and management. Preparing and delivering presentations to share insights and recommendations to the team or management.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen S&O processes for the function.

Qualifications

  • 2+ yrs. work experience with a degree in an analytical field such as engineering, business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics or adjacent areas.
  • Relevant experience in Data Analysis, preferably in Sales Operations or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software

Strategic and Functional Excellence

  • Good business acumen and understanding of the requirement to orient data analysis to business needs of key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage large amounts of data, tasks, schedules, and information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a wide variety of people.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with different cross-functional team members at varying levels.
  • Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, energetic, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style.
  • Intellectually curious and continuously striving to learn.

Technical skills:

  • Proficient in data analysis, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of statistics in making sense of complex data sets and drawing meaningful insights.
  • Responsiveness to function’s business goals and ability to translate into compelling reports , insights, and PowerPoint presentations.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
