Founded in 2005, Bazaarvoice is headquartered in Austin, Texas with offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
· Managing Snowflake Datawarehouse infrastructure which includes provisioning and scaling resources, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.
· Manage user access and responsible for installing DBT, applying updates and managing dependencies.
· Optimize DBT Performance by monitoring job execution, identifying bottlenecks and making necessary configurations.
· Setting up monitoring tools to track job status, resource usage and system health.
· Deploying DBT models to different environments and ensure they run reliably.
· Monitor job execution for errors and implement error handling and retry mechanisms.
· Set up notifications and alerts to inform relevant parties of job statuses and issues.
· Scheduling DBT jobs ensure that models are executed at right times and frequencies.
· Optimize job scheduling to balance resource usage and minimize execution times.
· Managing GIT version control to track changes of DBT projects.
· Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
· AWS experience with Athena and S3 for data pipeline connectivity.
· 6-8 years of database administrator experience with 2-3 years of snowflake administrator exp.
· At least 1 year of DBT administrator exp.
· Snowflake and DBT administrator experience is PLUS.
