We are looking for a SMB Account Director to join our Talent Solutions team in acting as a trusted adviser and bringing value to our customers.

In this role, you will help our K12 & Higher Ed customers adopt LinkedIn’s Solutions across the full spectrum of their talent lifecycle; from Hiring to Employee Development, to Employee Engagement.  In addition, you will have the unique opportunity to work with higher-ed institutions who are using LinkedIn’s tools and platform to create better career outcomes for the students they support.  

You will be dedicated to making our customers stronger and seeking out opportunities for growth. Although you possess a strategic approach to selling and strive to meet/exceed revenue goals through renewals and additional growth, you will always have your clients’ best interest in mind and act as their internal advocate to ensure they are set up for success.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Own, drive and manage the renewal process for a high volume of customers  
  • Bring contracts to early closure and build pipeline while maintaining strong personal relationships with current clients  
  • Close renewal and growth opportunities consistently at or above quota level  
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the territory and create reliable forecasts  
  • Develop and circulate the set of best practices that will support this growing team  
  • Collaborate with Account Director when renewals overlap in the customer territory

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 1+ years of applicable sales experience  
  • 1+ years of managing high volume transactions   

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field   
  • Experience in account management  
  • Experience carrying a revenue target  
  • Experience with SaaS sales, subscription, or renewal management  
  • Experience working in recruitment, human capital management, or e-learning industries
  • Experience in the academic space and/or working with education stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and forecasting skills  
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making  
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers  
  • Ability to orchestrate the closure of business with an accurate understanding of prospect needs  
  • Ability to include multiple partners and members of the company management team using competitive selling to position company products against direct and indirect competitors

The pay range for this role is $76,000 to $110,000 USD OTE. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
