Granicus is looking for an Implementation Specialist. This role lives within the customer experience arm of the Granicus’ Digital Communications and Engagement Implementation Team. This team enables our government clients (government agencies) on our community engagement platform, partnering with customers to enhance the way that government organizations support their communities through engagement. Implementation Specialists (IS’s) split their time between managing digital communications projects for new and existing clients, and supporting Implementation Consultants (IC’S) and Project Managers (PM’s) on larger scale new client projects. IS’s work with our most established public sector clients to ensure they are maximizing their use of Granicus SaaS products. Expert product knowledge, attention to detail, versatility and enthusiasm for client success are cornerstones for this role. Candidates should bring a consultative approach to ensure client success.
What your impact will look like:
- Lead and manage multiple Granicus projects on schedule and with high quality from kick-off to launch
- Advocate and evangelize “best practice” approaches to client implementations to ensure long term success and value for Granicus clients
- Ensure implementations meet client specific missions and solve core challenges around effective, efficient and engaging communications
- Clarify and drive implementation commitments
- Support Implementation Consultants and Project Managers on large-scale, new client implementations
- Facilitate online trainings and various working sessions for client administrators
- Establish and maintain clear chains of accountability within Granicus and client organizations
- Maintain project plans and other forms of communications regarding status and issues for assigned engagements.
- Manage system-wide projects in partnership with Product Development SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.

- 1 – 2 years of experience working in customer experience/service/support

- Committed to understanding client goals and relating them back to Granicus solutions to help clients achieve measurable success within their organizations
- Excitement for managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment with competing demands
- World-class problem-solving skills
- Excellent and proactive communication skills via multiple formats (oral and written) both with internal stakeholders and customers
- Project Management, preferably with public sector clients
- Familiarity with any combination of responsive email template design (HTML/CSS), 508 compliance, social media, SMS, RSS, Content Management Systems, analytics platforms, project management tools and online training solutions is preferred Strongly preferred if you:
- Have community engagement experience
- You have experience working with remote teams
- You have experience working with tech/software
