SITECH - In House Service Support - Technology Support SITECH

Objective
This position is primarily responsible for the in-house repair, calibrations, and service of Construction Technology which includes various Trimble Construction Machine Control and Guidance systems as well as Spectra, TopCon, Leica laser equipment.         
     Primary Responsibilities:
  •  Diagnose and repair construction technology hardware, with emphasis on lasers, GPS components, and optical instruments
  •  Prepare accurate and timely estimates for customer repairs
  •  Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, service plan, allocation of time, and tracking parts
  •  Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met
  •  Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner
  •  Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping 
Occasional/Other Responsibilities:
  •  Assist with ordering parts and organizing the parts warehouse
  •  Attend Trimble Equipment training
  •  Support team members & customers jumping in to help provide value where possible 
     Required:

      High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
  •  2 years or more experience with Heavy Equipment Construction Technology
  •  Trimble and/or Spectra Precision, TopCon, or Leica Technology training
  •  Training with lasers and electronic technology

  •  Strong computer skills experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn CAT/MacAllister/Michigan Cat systems
  •  Ability to build and maintain effective customer and professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline driven environment
