We're currently on the lookout for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.
As an SRE, you'll be a key player in ensuring the stability of AinekoX's infrastructure. Working closely with the development team, you'll play an essential role in elevating AinekoX's user base and quality while maintaining the seamless operation of the system as we continue to expand our global gaming services.
▍Responsibilities:
Infrastructure and Application Management:
- Plan and implement high-performance network connections, ensuring smooth cloud service operations and stability of platform infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure compliance of cloud infrastructure and provide services with high availability and reliability.
Testing and Release Process Optimization:
- Actively participate in optimizing testing and release processes, particularly fine-tuning processes in Kubernetes environments to enhance service quality.
Reliability and Speed Balance:
- Strike a balance between development speed and system reliability, with a special focus on achieving highly reliable operational environments on Kubernetes within defined service level objectives.
HTML5 Game Platform Optimization:
- Improve the stability, quality, automation, and release system of the HTML5 game platform, integrating Kubernetes technology to optimize platform performance.
System Reliability Focus:
- Emphasize enhancing system observability, automation testing, benchmark testing, fault tolerance, tracking, and on-call duties, particularly achieving system reliability in Kubernetes environments.
- Monitor the system on call, assist in infra development, and ensure an immediate response to system issues.
Team Collaboration and Optimization:
- Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams to collectively build and optimize Kubernetes and cloud environments, ensuring overall system efficiency during expansion.
Complex System Problem Solving:
- Identify and solve problems in complex interdependent systems, providing reliable and clear platform support documentation through cross-departmental collaboration.
Process Standardization:
- Drive and establish standard practices for monitoring, supply, deployment, and development processes to enhance team collaboration efficiency and ensure the effective execution of processes.
Requirements
▍Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience designing and implementing systems on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP / AliCloud, etc.).
- Experience using monitoring and telemetry tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog.
- Proficient in one or more high-level programming languages, such as Go (preferred), Python, Node.js, and JavaScript.
- Over 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or backend engineering.
- Experience in providing on-call services for critical applications in a production environment.
- Over 2 years of experience in software development for backend systems or infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Experience with Containers or Kubernetes (K8s).
- Experience working in a startup environment.
▍Language Requirements
- Can work in Chinese OR Japanese OR English
- Can read and understand technical documents in English
