KlearNow is transforming B2B supply chains with its smart Logistics as a Service (LaaS) platform that connects data, people, processes, and organizations. Its AI-powered platform digitizes paper-based transactions—streamlining customs clearance and drayage services. KlearNow empowers importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and supply chain partners by providing new levels of visibility and productivity to reduce costs and create enhanced customer experiences
Over and above the core customs clearance solution, KlearNow is also providing consolidated freight visibility, data and document management and intra-port activity for efficient Drayage.
We are headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, California with locations in India, Canada, UK. This year we will be expanding to multiple countries.
Roles and responsibilities
• Design and maintain our infrastructure allowing KlearNow to scale to large global user groups
• Build automation and robust monitoring and alerting for production systems with (DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, X-Ray, etc)
• Debug production issues across services and levels of the tech stack.
• Serve as an escalation point for any product or infrastructure issues and ability to be on-call duties to provide 24x7 services.
• Participate in all aspects of the builds, integration, deployment, merging, tools used and automation for our cloud environments.
• Define metrics and build Alerting systems to measure performance and scale, highlighting the biggest bottlenecks.
• Create and execute load testing plans that prepare our services for large volume of global users.
• Support internal and customer external performance indicators and SLAs.
• Provide reporting that provides appropriate context to KlearNow teams such as product owners, customer success, engineering, and sales teams
• Work closely with our DevOps team to tighten gaps and improve operability.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of SRE experience including working with real time, concurrent global user traffic across multiple data centres and regions.
• Excellent Linux system administration and automation skills (Python, Bash etc.)
• Experience on setting up monitoring tools within AWS or DataDog/Prometheus+Grafana.
• Passion for implementing best practices with a focus on rapid growth.
• Ability to solve mission critical services issues and build automation to proactively detect and prevent their re-occurrences.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science strongly preferred
