About the role
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. The responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.
What you will do
Design cloud solutions that ensure secure, sustainable, flexible and cost appropriate solutions.
Ensure successful execution of IT strategies, architecture guidelines, and standards and guide project teams through the technology selection and architecture/security governance processes
Manage and maintain the Cloud DevOps pipeline and work with dev teams. Look for opportunities to optimize and enable consistent automated deployments.
Define new patterns and standards as required.
Lead technology evaluations and implementations to fill gaps in the Technology Architecture.
Monitor standards/policy compliance by developing and executing governance processes and tools.
Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to others, and promote open culture and DevOps.
Model a culture that improves the organization's comfort with the speed of change, challenging assumptions, relentless pursuit of improvement - all with a high sense of personal accountability.
Participate in incident response and post-mortem activities to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and security vulnerabilities.
Basic Qualification:
4+ years of experience in the field
Solid understanding of networking protocols like HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS/GCP
Detailed understanding of Linux
Working knowledge of Kubernetes
Expertise in one or more web server technologies (nginx, Apache, etc.)
Expertise in shell scripting (python/Ruby will be good to have)
Expertise in GIT and Terraform
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing full application stacks, from configuring OS up through custom applications.
Programming experience (Bash/Python/Go)
Thorough understanding of Networking technologies.
Solid understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
