Site Process Operations Manager

Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Site Process Operations Manager in Casco, WI!  

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. 

 

Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:  

  • Monitor and evaluate the status of ammonia processing equipment and control systems for abnormalities, inefficiencies, unsafe conditions, etc.
  • Manage a team of onsite personnel providing leadership and expertise to ensure safety, availability of resources and adherence to production goals
  • Provide on and off hour emergency response including equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of personnel as needed
  • Assist with routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance
  • Own and drive safety programs to ensure personnel are in compliance with federal/state and company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with home base and onsite staff in regard to production, down time or other emergent issues
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address any issues related to quality
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures
  • Keep detailed work records and contribute to reports for regulatory and contractual compliance
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
  • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
  • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned 

This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  

  • Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Biological Sciences or other similar degrees are preferred
  • Strong aptitude for chemistry, biology, environmental science or related field required
  • Five or more years of experience in laboratory setting, preferably in the fertilizer, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment or similar industrial setting
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  •  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  •  Wage range for this role is between $100,000 - $135,000 annually  
  • Discretionary bonus
  • The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
