Job Description
The Site Operations Project Manager is responsible for leading the management of projects within the validation plant, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This role requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies certified by PMI, as well as expertise in organizational development to enhance operational excellence. The successful candidate will be adept at balancing multiple projects, optimizing production processes, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects within the org units from initiation through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems, ensuring continuous compliance and improvement in all operational processes.
Develop and execute organizational development strategies to enhance operational efficiency, employee engagement, and leadership capabilities within the plant.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, engineering, and supply chain, to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve operational challenges.
Utilize PMI-certified project management methodologies to plan, execute, and oversee project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance operational performance.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience as a Project Manager in a production environment, with a PMI certification.
Knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Demonstrable expertise in organizational development, with a focus on operational efficiency and leadership development.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and directing cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or organizational development are a plus.
