We are seeking an entrepreneurial Site Merchandiser Executive, passionate about our customer’s experience. The candidate will be both highly analytical and creative, supporting the business to exceed financial targets and improve customer engagement. The candidate will be considered a key member of the RedMart Commercial team and will report directly to the Trade Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Merchandising of Redmart campaigns and seasonal events, according to Trade Marketing and Merchandising Calendar including all onsite categories, pages, products, banners and displays across all platforms.
- Optimisation of search, landing pages, content, traffic, and brand/supplier advertising using A-B testing.
- Develop and execute conversion-improvement and other projects, measuring their effectiveness with customers and in driving business growth.
- Provide reporting and analysis on weekly and monthly cadence. Leverage analytics to understand performance and customer interaction to identify business opportunities.
- Partner with marketing, merchandising and marketplace teams to deliver the best, most relevant content and experience for our customers. For example, SEO optimisation collaboration with Marketing.
- Support Category Managers to report and optimise on category traffic, categorisation and category level campaigns.
- Work cross functionally with Product team to ensure the consumer apps are designed to deliver the most relevant content to customers.
- Support Trade Marketing Manager as an advisor to develop, execute and evaluate Redmart merchandising activities.
- Be a voice for the RedMart customer, helping to uncover and elevate campaigns to delight our customer’s shopping experience
Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate has superb business judgment with a desire to build and manage their own business. He/she must be able to work well in cross-functional teams to drive business goals.
Other qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree from top undergraduate institution.
- 1-3 years' experience in e-commerce site merchandising, preferably in FMCG
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail, quality control and exceptional organizational skills
- Experience with quantitative analysis
- Great communication (both oral and written) and influencing skills are a must
- Mastery of Google Analytics and MS Office (particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) is preferred, as well as an agility with web-based software applications and internally-developed systems
