 SUMMARY

The Site Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical mining systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. Your duties will include reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned

  1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution units, backup generators, and cooling systems.
  2. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
  4. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
  5. Collaborate with other team members and contractors on projects.
  6. Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  7. Safely operate hand and power tools used in electrical work.
  8. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
  9. Conduct maintenance on electrical equipment.
  10. Organize external electrical service teams on site.
  11. On call for emergencies.
  12. After essential duties are completed, the electrician will be assigned other duties.
  13. Travel may be required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Electrician license is required (Journeyman or Master).
  • Proven experience in 3-phase wiring and medium/high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and agility for tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with Bitcoin mining or data center operations a plus.
