Position Overview
As the Lead Site Electrician, you'll maintain and optimize electrical systems at our closed Homestake and Richmond Hill Mines. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment while also expanding your skill set through cross-training in general maintenance and operations.
Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Management: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical equipment, including motors, panels, pumps, control equipment, and power distribution systems.

Project Leadership: Develop scopes of work for electrical projects, collaborate with contracts personnel, and manage electrical contractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution.

Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive PM programs for electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.

Technical Expertise: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Cross-Functional Support: Receive training in general maintenance/operations to support overall system processes at both closure sites.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures.
