The responsibilities can be grouped into below main areas:
Supply Constraint Management:
- Oversee end-2-end supply chain operations across all parts of SCM, highlight potential constraints/ concerns in a timely manner, support in solution finding process and escalate on-time (if necessary) to the Management.
- To understand the root cause/ background of any supply constraints and issues, follow-up with respective stakeholders on the actions and timelines and work closely with the SCM team to resolve the issues.
- Support the constraint process and is pro-active in driving problem-solving initiatives and help set up corrective measures as and when required.
- Work closely with Local SCM Team to prepare and report any out-of-stocks projections in local markets.
- Oversee the supplies arrangement of inbound shipment from manufacturing site and distribution center in Europe and Japan to Asia region.
- Ensure the overall SCM processes and timelines are being adhered strictly by all related SCM & Cross-Functional Teams.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Support the development of IBP activities and drive process standardization and optimization across all Regions.
- Perform in-depth analysis and prepare IBP reports with the focus on major product families, supply constraint, growth rate in alignment with sales and financial projection.
- Identify gaps, business risks and communicate/ escalate to key stakeholders accordingly.
- Collaborate with and drive multi-disciplinary teams in executing projects/ processes with excellence and expediency.
- Responsible in identifying and mitigating issues with regards to change management.
KPI Management
- Coordinate and ensure data from respective stakeholders/ functions are provided in a timely manner.
- To generate, develop and prepare reports and presentations for communication to relevant stakeholders.
- Provides analytical support to SCM projects and/or dataset to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Streamline current reporting into new trackers and/or PowerBI dashboards that cater to the business needs.
- Support data validation, implementation of new process and provides documentation (e.g training materials/ work instructions) on newly developed trackers and dashboards.
- Support the alignment of any new KPIs to be measured and ensure standardization across the Regions.
Others
- Implement new process improvements for SCM Asia.
- Support any ad-hoc activities, initiatives, and projects under SCM Asia Control Tower.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Engineering or a comparable discipline is required.
- APICS Certification (CSCP or CPIM), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Regional Supply Chain Planning; preferably within the healthcare/ pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in deploying Integrated Business Planning (IBP) activities is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience in managing supply constraints will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of end-2-end supply chain principles and processes.
- Strong analytical, business knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize information, generalize the issue, propose recommendation and meticulous in follow-up.
- Knowledge of inventory management and safety stock policies.
- Highly proficiency in supply planning tools/ software, Excel, PowerPoint and hands-on experience in working/ using Power BI.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and self-driven/ goal oriented.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and can take ownership on initiatives and embraces a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficiently navigates ambiguity and adeptly handles dynamic business and operational situations.
- Exhibits the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Amenable to a 2-year contract role.
