SI Partner Solutions Director

This role will report to our Head of Partner Engineering, with a high level of cross-functional collaboration within Sigma. The Consultant & SI channel is largely untapped for Sigma, and having seen interest start to pique from a large number of top-tier Consultants & SIs, the time is right for Sigma to resource against what has the potential to be our highest growth channel. This role will be the technical counterpart to the Director of SIs as we build a more meaningful & strong consulting ecosystem for Sigma. Sigma is a partner-centric technology & organization, and the output of this role is vital to our growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Solutions
    • Own Partner Solution Development programs end to end - creating a repeatable framework for producing verticalized solutions at scale
    • Work with Partner Marketing to streamline Sigma’s Partner Content Incentive Program
    • Support the internal Sigma Demo Engineering team 
  • Delivery
    • Develop, maintain, and teach “Sigma Delivery Framework” to our partners
    • Co-develop solution architecture and delivery framework with our partners on complex customer engagements
    • Audit and enforce Partner Delivery Best Practices guidelines on customer engagements
    • Maintain a view of all projects where our partners are delivering 
    • Act as the main escalation point for Sigma CS on SI driven engagements at customers
    • Act as the primary technical escalation point for our partners on Sigma projects
  • Education, Community, and Evangelism
    • Represent the Partner team as Sigma develops certification tracks 
    • Define our strategy to enable thousands of technical Sigma consultants, and delivery enablement to key partners
    • Evangelize - speak at conferences, write blogs, and become the technical face of Sigma to our consultant ecosystem
  • Program Strategy & Internal Management
    • Set the framework to measure and scale the SI Partner Engineering team to meet the growing needs of Sigma and our partners 
    • Work closely with the Director of SIs to define the vision and strategy for Sigma’s SI program
    • Represent the SI team with Sigma SE and Solution Architect Leadership 

Qualifications we are looking for

  • Director or above at a data centric consulting firm
  • 10+ years of experience as a data practitioner with 5+ years in consulting
  • Currently running a team of consultants with remit over BI / Data Warehousing / Data Science
  • Technical Architect - can scope out an end to end architecture across BI, Embedding, Data science workloads
  • Has owned SOWs end to end - scoping, discovery, pricing, negotiation, mobilization, delivery, and hand-off
  • Has owned project audit process - ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
  • Able to get hands on in sql, python, Sigma, Snowflake, Databricks, and the rest of our growing partner product ecosystem
    • Not expected to produce production code, but expected to jump in as needed
  • Experience working with Director, VP, and c-suite levels at our customers, partners, and internally
  • Passionate about data, the ecosystem, and delivering high-quality data products for our customers
  • Be prepared to be flexible and dynamic in a fast-paced start-up - biased for action and getting things done
  • Be ready to travel up to 50% in some months

Additional Job details

The base salary range for this position is $205k - $225k annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for a variable pay (based on goal achievement), stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Note: The world around us is changing, but we at Sigma Computing are growing and scaling. We raised our Series C in Dec 2021. With that, and us being able to 3X our revenue year on year, hiring and building out the best version of our product is priority. That is why we want to talk to you.
