What we’re looking for...

Barr Soft Drinks are looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager to work within the Marketing Team. The Category & Shopper team’s role is to deliver compelling category insights & sells to drive incremental growth in the UK soft drinks market within out trade customers; and to provide shopper, customer & category insight internally to enable effective planning & execution.  

Your responsibilities will include...

To work with the Sales & Marketing teams, agencies and retailers to build our presence and visibility across the path to purchase by:

  • Building ‘best in class’ retailer partnerships, growing the category & AG Barr’s share of visibility, while developing strong business relationships with our customers
  • Leading cross-departmental campaign planning teams internally with Sales, Marketing and Commercial team colleagues, externally with suppliers and agencies 
  • Creating and executing strong activation plans across our customer portfolio, ensuring strong visibility of our brands across the shopper journey
  • Creating compelling, insight led shopper sells to our customers independently
  • Creating a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating each campaign using data
  • Deliver step-change campaigns that help us achieve the commercial goals set by the business

What you’ll bring...

The successful candidate will have;

  • Business related degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an FMCG company with marketing, shopper marketing and/or sales management experience.  Broad experience of field and head office account management covering all sectors of the fmcg market – specifically multiple grocers
  • Ability to implement a rolling annual activity plan
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to multitask
