We are looking for a Shop Leader to lead SKIMS’ new concession boutique opening in Bloomingdale’s. As a Concession Shop Leader, you will work closely with the SKIMS corporate leadership team to ensure the boutique meets all brand guidelines and achieves business results.

You are responsible for all store activities including sales leadership, customer experience, visual merchandising, operations management, developing and nurturing a team that embodies the SKIMS ethos.

Responsibilities:
·      You are responsible for communicating financial goals to the team and sharing how individual contribution impacts performance results.
·      We expect you to actively source, network, and recruit top talent to make up your SKIMS team.
·      You educate Team Members (SKIMS and Bloomingdales employees) on SKIMS’s Mission and Values ensuring that they are reflected in all that we do.
·      You are the voice of the brand and share relevant information with Team Members to ensure they thrive at work.
·      You are a developer of others – you coach, motivate, and inspire other to produce their best work.
·      You create individualized development plans, support career growth, and enable succession planning.
·      You create and nurture and environment that is customer centric ensuring an excellent experience for all. You do this through a customer first mindset, leading the sales floor with presence, and coaching the sales team to selling behaviors.
·      You are operational by nature and manage all operational aspects of your business, including but not limited to stock room activities, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and coaching the ops team to operational standards.
·      You oversee the overall in-store environment including but not limited to; Visual merchandising, store standards and cleanliness, replenishment, and marketing.
·      We expect you to lead through the lens of productivity and profitability through strong operational controls including strategic scheduling, payroll control and Inventory management.
·      You own the stores P & L and manage it through all controllable metrics; actively analyzes business trends and adjust accordingly.
 
Requirements:
·      You should have 4+ years of leadership experience, specifically within a department store - you must have strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead a team. Concession model leadership is highly preferred.
·      We expect you to have a proven track record of hiring, leading, and developing effective retail teams.
·      Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
·      The ability to work closely and effectively with others is important and expected.
·      We expect you to have a deep understanding of customer service principles and the ability to provide exceptional service to all customers.
·      You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and be able to handle any issues that may arise in the store.
·      We expect you to have strong operational and organizational skills.
·      We expect you to have strong visual merchandising skills, a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the store is always presented in a compelling manner.
·      We value flexibility and expect you to be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
