Vicarious Surgical is hiring a Part-Time Supply Chain Associate to join our team in Waltham, MA. We are seeking a hands-on individual to help with our daily shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. 

This is an onsite role based in our Waltham, MA office. This is a temporary, part-time hire with the possibility of a transition to a full time hire. Working hours are Monday - Friday, approximately 20 - 25 hours per week, between the hours of 9am - 2pm.

Vicarious Surgical is a next generation robotics company developing a disruptive technology with the goal of increasing the efficiency of surgical procedure, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. This is an exciting time to join our company.

This opportunity is for an entry level Supply Chain professional. We are seeking an individual who is looking to grow their skill set. This individual will be a key member of the team and will help bring our robotic solution to the market, offering a cost-effective path to improving patient outcomes and increasing the efficiency of surgical procedures for hospitals.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound product from parcel and freight carriers
  • Accurately process outbound shipments 
  • Review packing lists for accuracy and receive into our ERP system as required
  • Deliver packages to the appropriate locations within our campus once received
  • Work closely with procurement to resolve discrepant or damaged deliveries
  • Ensure a clean and organized loading dock and shipping/receiving area
  • Support the movement of materials from controlled inventory as needed
  • Ensures adherence Standard Operating Procedures required to meet Vicarious Surgical’s quality compliance for product and practices
  • Other tasks as required and assigned

About You

  • Prior experience in a shipping/receiving or inventory (or like) role preferred
  • Strong communication, continuous improvement, organizational skills, and desire to learn
  • Ability to work independently after training
  • Understands basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite applications
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems preferred
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
