Leyden labs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive  
 

Shipments Coordinator  

 

to manage and oversee the shipments of research materials. In this role, you will ensure efficient logistics for our national and international shipments, and regulatory compliance to support our research and development activities. This role is for anyone with relevant work experience or ideal for a current biomedical student who is looking to gain practical experience in a professional setting. 

Duration: interim period of 6 months 

 

Hours: Part-time 20-32 hours a week

You will work in the Lab Operations team. Under supervision of our Director of R&D Operations. The activities will be conducted at our Leyden Labs, newly built, state of the art facilities within a vibrant biotechnology campus in Leiden, Netherlands.

Responsibilities: 

Shipment Coordination & Logistics: 

  • Coordinate international shipments via courier services. 

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, transport documentation, and invoices. 

  • Handle shipment registration and customs documentation, including expedition paperwork. 

  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including CITES and animal byproducts 

  • Optimize work processes related to shipping and logistics for efficiency.
