ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

What We Do

Our Finance and Accounting teams build the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, international subsidiaries, as well as with external partners to ensure a world-class finance organization. Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.

What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for a Shared Services Manager based in the US and act as the AR and AP lead for all global entities.

In this role, you will

  • Review and approve account reconciliations, journal entries, customer invoices, and supplier invoices/payments
  • Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders, including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controllership, Procurement, FP&A, Sales/Business Development, employees, customers, and vendors globally
  • Preparation of monthly reporting on metrics and other key performance indicators
  • Help to execute on the Shared Service Center’s strategic, technological, and other process improvement initiatives, as well as the ongoing roadmap initiatives
  • Lead, drive, and influence the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to increase standardization, optimization, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Controller team
  • Core focus on E2E workstreams including Source to Pay, and Order to Cash
  • Work with Controllership teams (Accounting, Tax, FP&A) to help improve month-end close and other critical Finance objectives and help develop and maintain policies, processes, and procedures for the shared service center, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and best practices and sharing across the Controller team across various countries

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree required, but advanced degrees or certifications are preferred (MBA, CPA, CMA, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Understanding of the H2P (Hire to Pay), S2P (Source to Pay), and O2C (Order to Cash) cycles
  • 7+ years of related experience, with 3+ years of management experience
  • Strong understanding of multinational accounting and shared services operations
  • Proficiency with MS Office, and ERP systems (RPA and other automation tools are a huge plus)
  • SOX experience a plus
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills as well as analytical and technical skills
  • Hands-on, flexible, and a team player able to function in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proven experience creating a culture of continuous improvement, with demonstrated ability to identify, drive, implement process improvements, lead teams through change, and understand and influence data needs for financial reporting
